Exploration
Explore and gain insight
In this phase, we explore the collaboration and ensure a clear understanding. Together, we look at wishes and needs, problems and opportunities. Often, after an initial introduction, there is a need for an in-depth workshop in which our team will challenge you to push the boundaries and arrive at a clear, shared goal. After this phase, we have enough information to provide a solid cost estimate.
Planning
Plan and prepare
After the first phase, we move on to creating a plan and can begin researching and preparing possible solutions. We provide a clear overview of all major themes (Epics) and break them down into smaller units (User stories). Everything is collected in an organised way on our scrum board in Jira. Each Epic and every story is discussed in detail together so that we know what it needs to meet and where the priorities lie.
Development
Build and implement
When we start building and you want a web application developed, we do so in blocks of 3 weeks (Sprints). After each sprint, we deliver a tested and working component. We also determine before each sprint whether any work needs to be further clarified or adjusted (Refinement) and which components we will tackle in the next sprint (Sprint planning).

Once we have delivered all the work we agreed upon together, we can deploy it to a production environment (Release). This can be done as a single major release, but more often happens in small incremental releases so that we continuously keep improving.
Monitoring
Monitor and evaluate
Once all planned work has been delivered and is running in production, active monitoring begins. All our applications are automatically monitored for potential issues. Once the application has been live for a while, we evaluate and identify areas for improvement.

Continuously improve and maintain

That depends on the complexity. After the discovery phase, we provide a concrete estimate. Simpler applications are delivered within two to four sprints, which is six to twelve weeks. More complex systems require more time. Thanks to Qore.works, the initial setup is significantly faster than with a traditional approach.

We work in five phases. First, we explore your wishes and needs together, often through a workshop. Then we plan and prepare: epics and user stories in Jira. Next, we build in three-week sprints. After the go-live, we start active monitoring and then continuously maintain the application.
